Great product with good stretch and doesn't get in the way of paddling motion at all. You can either attach the clip to your self or to the kayak.

Plastic clips unreliable/unsafe
Don't think the plastic clips used on these leashes are safe. They could easily fail. If you on a large lake or out at sea on your kayak you don't want to lose your paddle. A standard loop would have been a lot more sensible.
