Even though the B52 has an enviable reputation as one of the best barra lures on the market, it also tempts a lot of other fish, such as most species in the tropics, as well as Australian salmon, tailor, kingfish and even trout.
The lure has a distinctive rolling action and slower tail beat, is well-suited to trolling and dives to around 1.5 metres. The B52 is fitted with 2 heavy-duty size-1 treble hooks, heavy-duty split rings, and has internal rattles that will send out messages to fish far and wide. The body and bib are made of ABS plastic, making it an extremely tough lure, perfect for bouncing it up and over rock bars and through snags.
At 125mm in length weighing 25 grams, it is one of the best cast and retrieve lures on the market. Remember to add a few twitches to the rod tip to make the lure flash in the sunlight. A lure to look out for!
