The Rule-Mate 1100GPH (Gallons Per Hour) is a fully-automatic, submersible bilge pump system. The bilge water sensor and pump of this unit are all combined into the one compact heavy duty-unit, and with this bilge, there is no battery drain when not in use (pump running). Featuring a removable strainer and impeller area to allow you to clear debris, as well as an anti-fouling impeller. Coming complete with a Straight and 90 degree hose barb included, threaded ends, and being pre-wired means that installation is as easy as possible. Team that up with thermal overload protection, a test feature and a 3 year warranty and you have one of the most reliable, heavy-duty, long-lasting and efficient bilge pumps available. Rated 3 out of 5 by from Mine doesnt work properly Bought one of these a couple of weeks ago from BCF. Tested it in a bucket of water and the delayed start worked correctly and the delayed stop worked correctly. Installed it in my yacht to replace an older model of this pump and found (whilst at sea) that it would not stop once activated. There is about 1 metre of head in my installation and about 8 metres of hose. As I was at sea I tried to pull the unit apart and found that there is no way to adjust or disable anything. Big danger if the pump doesn’t stop, the battery will discharge or the pump burn out. As I have opened the pump and resealed I suppose I have no warranty claim? Now I am looking for another pump without the delayed stop feature. Easy way to waste $200!!!! Can’t find a way to contact the manufacturer to discuss this issue.
