Savage is a new brand on the Australian market, established by a Danish angler named Mads Grossell. The company focuses on producing lures for what the Europeans call “predator fish†– namely pike, perch, zander, salmon and trout. The Savage range of lures is exclusive to BCF stores around Australia and has been re- designed for Australian conditions.
The Yabbie can be used in both salt and freshwater in a number of ways - light-weighted and floated down beside structure, slowly worked over rock bars and oyster rack, and just cast out and dead-sticking.
You could also rig these weedless and work them in and around mangrove and snags. To add more enticement to the soft plastic, rub some of your favourite scent into the under-body.
