If you are thinking of heading north, the Squidgy Pro Flickbait is one of the soft plastics that you need to make sure you have in your tackle bag. Not only will it catch bream, flathead, flounder, Australian salmon, bonito and tailor in the south, it is just as happy being amongst those northern tropical fish species.
These soft plastics can be fished weedless and un-weighted when used over weed beds, lily pads, oyster racks at high tide, and shallow flats. If that is not to your liking, you can put on a selected jig head and fish them beside pontoon and bridge pylons, under wharves, bounced down breakwalls, next to or over bommies, and even in surf gutter and rock washes.
You could even try using one in the freshwater for trout or salmon, or try slow trolling one! A must have in any lure collection.
