The 65mm Taylor Made Baby Nugget has been designed with native water fish species in mind, but this shouldn’t stop you using this tremendously vibrant lure when you target bream and flathead, as it will dive to 6 metres, and it has an ideal bib and body design to make it bounce over snags, deep rock bars and over the edges of drop-offs.
This is a great lure to cast up close to a steep rock shoreline and bounce it back down the rock face into deeper water. You could also try trolling it along the face of the rock wall.
If trolling in the estuaries, you should look for areas where the bottom drops off quite sharply, and it will be here that you can either cast the lure back up into the shallow water and work it down the face, or troll it along the edge.
