So easy to put up
Recently decided to go west on a trip with my parents. They have a campervan but we decided it would be too cramped with me and my 3 & 4yr old staying in the van so decided to go looking for a tent. Number one priority for me was something easy to put up. I was originally looking at the Coleman easy up tent but the very helpful lady at bcf Mackay was telling me how the fly on the Coleman one has a big arch on the sides that does not cover the whole tent so more suseptable to rain blowing in. She demonstrated on the smaller tent on how to erect and pull down the tent and I was sold. I decided on the 6 person as the smaller one was too small for me and the 2 kids but now wish I'd paid the extra $100 and got the bigger one with 2 rooms, which I would have at the time if my budget permitted.
I used the tent for almost 2 weeks at various locations and never had a problem with it. I felt proud when dad kept asking me if I wanted help but I could manage to set the whole tent up by myself. We did end up getting rain at Cobbold Gorge and although not torrential rain, it was still pretty wet and no leaks.
Id definitely recommend this tent to anyone looking for something easy to erect. It is a little expensive but worth it to save the frustration of putting a jigsaw of poles together. The only thing I will mention is I bought different pegs, both sand pegs and larger metal pegs as the ones that come with the tent aren't really good for much especially if you're camped on sandy or rocky terrain. I'd also recommend using double guy ropes for the awning poles. I didn't need the ropes on the gusseted side windows (another great feature to allow air flow and also keep the rain out) so I used them as double guy ropes for the awning.
I had a queen air bed and 2 junior camp stretchers in the tent which still allowed enough room for the kids to play with their 'inside' toys inside the tent. Only wish I'd got the larger 2 room tent to allow a bit of extra room and privacy for when the partner is with us for our overnighter camp trips (generally we use our camp trailer for long trips).
Also must mention for the shorter people out there, put the fly on before extending the legs as the instructions say. Taller people shouldn't have a problem putting the fly on after the tent is up. I'm quite tall and had no problems putting fly on after tent was up.

Good value for money.
I wanted the Oztent rv5 but didn't want to spend that kind of money. This tent assembled pretty easily. The supplied pegs and the main bag for it all to fit back into aren't great. I did the click and collect and had dramas with that.
